Raymond D. Fowler Award

Established by the American Psychological Association Board of Directors in 2003, the Raymond D. Fowler Award was created to honor Dr. Fowler's decades of service to the Association.

The Award recognizes a staff member whose work ethic encourages productive and cooperative relationships among offices, departments, directorates, or governance groups and shows a clear dedication to advancing APA’s mission.

  • Serves as a catalyst to enhance an overall process between offices, departments, directorates or governance groups.
  • Maintains a professional presence and demeanor that facilitates open, honest communication within and between groups, which may have disparate ideas, agendas, or perspectives.
