AI Insights & Summaries (previously called "Chat with PDF")

  • Chat More Scenario: When a user has not yet used up their Question Quota for a chat (<10 questions). For this scenario, the user clicks on "View Chat" from My PsycNet and goes back to the AI Insights article page where the question counter would reflect how many more questions the user can have. Example of User Able to Chat More
  • Full Chat Limit Reached Scenario: When a user has used up their Question Quota of 10 chats for an article. For this scenario, the user clicks on "View Chat" from My PsycNet and goes back to the AI Insights article page with an alert telling them they have reached the full limit for engagement with the article (10 questions). The question counter would also show they have "0" questions left for the article. Example of Full Chat Limit Reached
  • AI Insights & Summaries - Full-Text HTML with AI UI - V4 - Bottom off-canvas drawer/sheet at mobile medium breakpoint (<768px); Tooltip added next to "AI Insights & Summaries" heading for usage tips (TBD); Citation anchors in Brief Summary, Full Summary, and AI response message bubbles (with expand/collapse functionality); Took out Copy action icon and put in Cite icon which launches a modal showing APA Style citation for the AI generation; Reformatted message bubbles for greater width/space and with response content; Commented out the light/dark mode CSS/JS (for now); Formatting and other changes since V3Not Using - Keeping for Reference

    "Chat More" and "View Chat" scenarios:

    1. Single Chat Limit Not Reached - "Chat More": When a user has not yet used up their Question Quota for a chat (5 questions asked for a particular chat), and the user has or has not exhausted their chat/question quota overall, then the link will be "Chat More" and clicking on it will navigate the user to the AI Insights article page with the pre-populated chat where the user can ask additional question(s). Example of User Able to Chat More
    2. Single Chat Limit Reached - "View Chat": When a user has used up their Question Quota for a chat (5 questions asked for a particular chat), but the user still has 1 or 2 more chats left to engage with the article. For this scenario, the link on My PsycNet is "View Chat", and for the mockup, when clicking on that link the user goes back to the AI Insights article page with an alert telling them they have reached the question limit for that specific chat, but they can start a new chat/conversation.     3. Full Chat Limit Reached - "View Chat": When a user has used up their Question Quota for a chat (5 questions asked for a particular chat), and has exhausted the other 2 chats (each with 5 questions). For this scenario, the link on My PsycNet is "View Chat", and for the mockup, when clicking on that link the user goes back to the AI Insights article page with an alert telling them they have reached the full limit for engagement with the article (3 chats each with 5 questions).
